OK, we all know I am new to PVP. I no doubt have a lot to learn.
The first thing I am looking at is gear. Anyway, over the last 2 nights I have been looking at my initial PVP gear. My goal for this was to try and get all leather with more Stam that what I was wearing. I basically ended up buying a several AH greens. I remembered there are some Helms with a tiny bit of Resilience on them available with 18 Spirit Shards. Well I happen to have these so I flew of to the Stronghold to take a look.
This is where I got confused.

Is it just me or would you be mad to pick the Resto piece over the Balance piece?
Lets Compare.
I checked out a few of the PVP rewards as well and it seems this pattern is followed with the exception of the Arena Rewards.
Did I miss something here or is this just bad itemisation.

It seems to me you are comparing the Dragonhide (feral) vs the Wyrmhide (balance) helms. The resto helm should be named Kodohide but a quick search of wowhead shows that it simply doesn't exist. There is an Exorcist's Leather Helm but the "Leather" surname is usually the one for rogues, so yeah Resto Druids are getting the shaft. Bummer.
Ahh, well I am glad there is some proper resto gear here. Right now I drop so quickly I miss it if I blink.
