As everyone has noticed, 2.4 is live and the new area is crowded. I jumped on the trusted Griffin in IF and waited for a 25 minute flight. It was a pleasant surprise to get there almost immediately. My initial impressions were positive. I liked the layout and the architecture of the zone. I gathered some friends together and we hit the instance. I was our Tank, We had Clayre as our Priest. OMGTotem the Enh Shammy with Kratis on his Lock. The final spot was taken by Levith the Feral Druid (new to 70). Except for Levith, the rest of us are Fully T4 geared. The first hiccup, Levith was AFK until we replaced him at the first boss, wife agro apparently. So we replace him with Stormchaser, a mostly full T4 Hunter. Now you would think that this group should walk through the instance with ease. In the end we wiped 4 or 5 times. I won't go into details about the instance but will share my thoughts.
- The Trash is harder than the Bosses.
- It Felt Like a Heroic.
- The Design makes for Extreme Bear Butt lack of Visibility.
All Bad?
Not at all, it was a fun instance and on the second run with Zej Tanking, I found it a lot more enjoyable, Less Bear Butt, more Visibility. Warriors and Pallies will find tanking in here a lot easier than Druids. I haven't tried it on Heroic yet but I will. I was let down with the DPS/Healing Gem's that were a reward for the first quest.
The Team.
Not much happening there. Thanks to Zej, I collected my last DM books and he kindly agreed to run me to the library. The 14000+ XP dinged Razorslax to 58. I will not have much time to play over the next few days as I have Family staying over, so posts may be a little slow.
New Web Site.
BBB posted about a new site. It looks good and is worth checking out.
