Do you love giving the "I told you so" comment to people? I am not talking about it in an arrogant way but more of a banter between friends. Well I got to do just that last night.
I Cant get a Group.
I was chatting with Beld on Messenger yesterday and he made the comment, "I do not expect a run in the evenings as Medivh is dead". Just to clarify, we are both Aussies so our evenings is around 5am Server time. My response was "I was on all evening and you made no effort to for a group". His response, "I was asking all day". I pointed out that we were talking about our evenings, not our days. In the end we agreed to disagree.
The Group.
Beld needed a BM run to complete his Kara Key quest. I decided to get this run taken care of so that he was not only ready for Kara, but so I could also prove him wrong. I check the guild roster. 5 people online. Though I knew of 2 guildies playing alts. So first I whisper my noob rogue friend, Zonn. Of course, he is always up for something. One of the alts has a Priest, a quick /w and sure he will help. The other alt is playing on his lock. One more /w and our group is filled. All in the time it took Beld to make himself a coffee.
I told you so!
OK, I know I have an advantage in this aspect simply because I have most of the rolls covered, I can bring a Tank, DPS or Healer. I also do admit, though don't tell Beld, that yes, in an American Guild it can be hard to get a group together, even in the American times, most of the guildies are past 5mans and onto heroics. The one thing that always gets me though is people (for once I am not pointing to Beld) can complain that no-one does any 5mans anymore, when no-one will take it on themselves to actually organise it.
Multi-Boxing News.
Vyndree from http://v-boxing.net/blog/ posted a question in the Customer Service Forums this week. You can see the post here. Belfaire, a blue poster, replied promptly and I think it is worth a read to anyone wondering about Multi-Boxing.

I do NOT concede defeat and do NOT accept your "I told you so" :P
It is hardly a fair test in finding a group when half of those you asked are YOUR personal friends from RL, and the others are guild members in a guild where YOU have been in for years and YOU are co-leader of the guild (or whatever rank you are). :P
I don't think you have a genuine understanding of life in WoW for "normal" players. Now please don't take that as an insult as it was never intended to be. I think that your perception is perfectly natural and probably the greatest reason for disatisfaction for most guild membes in most guilds.

Oh I wish I could edit typos.
Now you know how badly I really type. :P
