BATTLE OF THE NOOBS!

That's Right! You heard it here first. The legendary Beldanna (AKA Beld) and Steelyeye face of in the Ultimate Extravaganza where there are no survivors. Who will claim the Ultimate Clayre Moment?

How did it start?

During our first run to Karazhan, we cleared our way to the Maiden, skipping the two Guards on the Left. After defeating Maiden with consummate ease, we headed back out the corridor, only to have Steelyeye run straight down the middle and kill off half the raid.

Beld's Turn?

Heading up to the Opera Event, we had pulled a couple of groups of stage hands, leaving two Stage hands outside the room and one that paths in. After pulling the pair all the way back, out of range of the pather, the pather slowly strolls in our direction. Then I see Beld move so his back is to the pather and back up a couple of steps. Luckily for him, our poor healer chose the precise moment to finish a heal spell. <SPLAT>.

Steely's Turn!

Day 2 of Karazhan, Aran and Illhoof are down from the last run so we zone into the Library and head towards Chess. I hit Cat form and stealth my way to the corner to see the pack of 4 ghosts, when Steelyeye Casually walks around the corner for a look-see. <WIPE>

And Beld... Again!

Heading back to Netherspite after downing the Prince, Beld forgot one of those Ethereal guys we didn't pull and walked right into him. With a high pitched Squeal he finally cast Ice-Block at the appropriate moment. Luckily it was Steely right behind him to take the death. As I ran into save the raid (/flex), I was just slow enough for the Ice Block to fade and Beld to die.

2 All? A Tie?

I am fairly sure Steely managed a 3rd Clayre Moment in there somewhere but I just can't remember for the life of me what it was. Maybe if Beld want's to save a little self-respect he will remember;)
