Ask Razorbax

I am very excited. I got my first email. Well not my FIRST email, but some one out there, to Beld's astonishment, would like my opinion. Here we go.....

The Email!

Viper plays a 70 Horde Hunter with his Dad, also a hunter. He also has a Druid (Yes!). Viper's brother has just joined them using RAF, linking to Dad's account.
Viper asks:
My Dad made a Warrior and my Brother made a Paladin, they are both level 20 with around 8 hours /Played. I am going to run them through instances with my Druid. Do you have any advice on Multi-Boxing three different classes?

Firstly, Thanks Viper for the email. In this scenario you actually have it rather easy. Since you have a high level Druid to run through Instances, your Druid will be the Master. He/She is the one you will be controlling. Usually, when you are Multi-boxing with a melee, you make sure your Master is the melee. Having slave melee can make it very hard to control. Fortunately it's not really an issue here. The first thing I would do is spec the Pally to holy and set up Healing Macro's as a safety net for your druid. Make sure you also set up your bubbles, one for the Pally and one for the Warrior. You will be doing all the work on your druid.

Where?

At level Twenty, though many people can not believe it, you are ready for SM. Initially you will need to be very careful with your lowbies Agro Range. For example, just zoning into Cathedral will agro the first guard. So make sure your Druid is first to Zone. Always ensure your lowbies are away from the main fight. There are some funny bugs that cause mobs to reset and kill your lowbies. Start getting some practice rounding up small groups and killing them with your Druid. Get a feel the size of your roundups that you can handle. Make sure you use your Demo Roar to get a little threat on everything.Be very careful healing your Druid as there may be some mobs with next to no threat. Just keep that bubble handy. In SM you will be looking at one level per run all the way to 40.

Then Where?

When you hit level forty you can head for BRD. Some people choose ZF but I think BRD is a better investment in time. That should keep you going to the low fifties. Then its Scholo or Strat. It does not really matter which one you choose here, I would just do the instance you prefer. It is very easy to get bored of one instance so you can mix it up a bit.

Group Synergy

Since you didn't really mention what level your Druid is, I will assume that at some point the warrior and Pally will catch up. At this point it would be ideal for your warrior to be the Master that you control. You can spec your Druid to Balance and Keep the Pally as Holy. Vyndree has a great post on setting up Macro's with different classes.
I hope this helps.
