Wrath Day 1?

This week, the shared topic over in BA is "What will I be doing on the first Day of Wrath?". Now this is an interesting one. When BC was released, I was really looking forward to seeing the new world. In reality, I spent most of my time in my /interface/addons folder.....

What I Want To Do.

Let's make the assumption that all my Mod's and UI are working fine. I still haven't decided exactly what I want to do. There are a couple of variables to consider and a little bit of indecision.

Release Week!

Since we started this little 10-Man raiding guild, we have to get to 80 as fast as possible and start hitting new content. Now, I will be one of the few people in the guild that's actually planning on taking some time off from work. I was thinking about two weeks. We will see. All my plans really revolve around how long it takes me to start 5-boxing.

Plan A.

Level my Feral Druid Solo as fast as I can to level 80. I will then box all the others though the levels and take my time to enjoy the new content. I would only do this if I am 5-boxing.

Plan B.

Level my Feral Druid with a Shammy and my Resto Druid. Once they are 80, I will then level the Pally Tank with a Shammy and Mage. Again, I will rush with the first group and relax with the second. I would only do this if I am not 5-Boxing.

Plan C.

5-Box with the Feral as the tank and leave my poor Pally to solo level. Again, this is only an option if I am 5-Boxing. I have a feeling it would be painful though.

A, B or C?

Well to start with, I don't think Plan C is very viable. I personally think that levelling a Prot Pally Solo will be a killer. Even if they improve Ret Pallies, I really want to level as Prot so I can learn as I go. In the end it really comes down to wether or not I am 5-boxing. There is really only one guarantee here and that is that I will be taking my Feral Druid to 80 as a priority.

Preference?

Personnally, assuming things go well, I would love to go with Plan A. I guess Time will tell.

Personally I am going to try and start with the 4/5 box option and going hard.

But I have real concerns that while things will be better than when BC hit the ground, I am still quite worried about the performance hit of having a gazillion people in the same zone... Latency has literally been the biggest killer for me since I started boxing.

I Think with 1 PC for my Main and another PC for each of the other 2, lag should be fine. Hopefully;)
