Memories

Whilst I am anticipating my WoLK come back I have had a good chance to remember the funniest/favorite moments I have been apart of. I thought I would fill in some time by recounting some of those adventures. Some of these my be repeats to readers but I am sure you will get a laugh out of them.

1. Dismounting on a Flying Mount.

Back in the day, I scammed two players when they first hit 70 and purchased their flying mounts. I simply asked them in Guild Chat if they had tried remounting before they hit the ground...

2. /Follow.

This one gets me every time. While questing with Beld, I was on my Pally and we were in HFP. I had my Resto Druid on follow in Flight form. I was still rather enamored about my Bubble and used to jump of all sorts of places just because I could. Well I proceeded to jump of that cliff near the Temple of Thalamat(I bet I spelt that wrong). Thankfully, and without my knowledge, Beld had me on follow. His corpse landed behind me a few seconds later, coinciding with his girlish scream on TS.

3. Baron Geddon.

Yep, good old molten core. This is actually a two parter. The first incident occurred when I was healing Zej as he tanked Geddon. Zej went down and I immediately Rezzed Him. Unfortunately I didn’t notice I had the Bomb Debuff. He appeared at my feet just as I exploded. Double Repairs FTW!
The next time we had Rumples, our Drunken Mage. His first time in MC was when we had it on Farm. He didn’t know about the Bomb. When he received 3 or 4 whispers saying "Rumplfs, you are the Bomb!" he thought it was a complement and proceeded to Gloat on TS. "Oh Yeah, I am da Bomb!" before exploding and wiping half the raid.

4. Ony!

As a Pre 1.8 Druid, I dreamed of tanking Ony for such a long time. Our guild used to help another guild raid MC and Ony and one day we were short a main tank. I piped up and said "Hey Guys, I would love to give it a go". They were only too happy to comply. Even with some Tard MS Warrior thinking he would be better, and trying to out tank me, we were successful and I not only held agro but we downed Ony. Not many people noticed that I accidentally dropped to caster for about 10 seconds and Wrath Spammed her before I noticed and quickly hit bear again.....

5. BWL...

Pre BC, as a guild, we were halfway through BWL. When we had Pre T5 content on Farm we decided to have some fun in BWL. We had around 20 level 70's with a few mid 60's. I had the chance to Tri-box my Mage/Shammies. It was my first and only raid with them and I had a Blast. After that I also did a few ZG runs for Mounts and the Polymorph Drop.

6. Summoning....

A good friend Zonn had taken the week off for Family, and we decided to give him a little present. I logged on to his 61 Rogue and had a few friends summon him to one of Nagrands floating Islands. Of course I remembered to remove his Hearth Stone and I left him naked with all his gear in the bank. This is when we got Creative. The Lock wondered if we could summon a person into mid air and we proceeded to find a spot where we could do exactly that. I was the Guinea Pig, since I could fly and we found the sweet spot, right above a horde camp. I recon we summoned half the guild. Even the Pally Bubble and Mage Slow Fall only prolonged the deaths.
