Well, everything is set up and working. I started out by having a little play in Shattrath. Just the easy stuff, Follow, Stop Follow, Shapeshifting and Flying. There were a few errors here and there but so far so good. I found it just did not work having Epic Flying on my Lead character though, so off I went and purchased a Standard Flying Mount.
Next I need to test targeting and attacking. I flew just outside of Shatt and started attacking various low level mobs. Everything was smooth.
Since I needed some Mana Primals for my Rest Druid, I decided to try farming with the 3 in Netherstorm. This went OK but honestly it was quicker just to use the feral. That’s ok, I just need more Practice.
Finally I thought, let’s get down to business. I flew up to Mech and decided to try the first Pull. This is where things went bad.
The initial part was easy, holding agro, healing, Nuking, no problems. Then one add summons those little baby elementals that go straight for the healer, again, no big deal, I run over and peel them off, only thing is I dont think about dragging them away. The they start with the AOE, I get flustered. Someone dies.
Out of the three attempts, I had the healer die twice and the feral die once.
It is extremely hard to get used to this entirely new way of playing. I did expect that though.
On the brighter side of things, I tried it out with my Warlock, Mage and Shadow Priest and I had a Blast.
In conclusion, playing three simular characters is a breeze. Playing three different characters is hard as hell.
I have not given up, I am just going to familiarise myself with this style and continue to practice.
I have written a brief guide that covers what I have done.
