About Time

Like all druids, I am excited to see the introduction of the new Druid form models. I can't wait to see the Alliance Bear and Cat models as well.

To Easy?

I am a little disappointed in the simple method in which you can change your model. A simple visit to the Barber Shop and that’s done. Personally I would not mind waiting a little longer for something with a bit more Depth.

Class Quests.

This comes back to the old V1 days. Most classes have quite a few class quests to obtain certain abilities or spells. The Epic Flight Form quest is a great example of this. I would love to see each individual model to have its own quest chain.

Bear Quests.

Let’s say you want to get the Polar Bear model. The quest could involve solo'ing an Alpha Male Polar bear and becoming the new pack leader. It may even involve taking out various bears and working your way up the pack ladder.

Cat Quests.

The quest for getting a Cat model could be based on observing a specific cat and/or following it around while it hunts etc.

Repeatable?

It should be necessary for you to complete a new quest to change from one cat model to another. You could then build up a list of Models available much like collecting riding mounts or pets.

Rare and Epic?

There could be Common Models, Rare Models and Epic Models that simply require more skill/time etc to achieve. The epic quests should be long and involved and really be an achievement to complete and not just a test of how good the gear you have is.

Solo or Group?

It is very important for these quests to be either limited to a single Druid or maybe have small druid groups with a couple of Druids doing the quest together.

Guild Models?

I am not sure if I like this idea but it could also be possible to complete a Guild based Druid quest that allows you to wear the tabard while in form, much like a saddle cloth. You could make it so that several guild druids can go on a quest together which requires the use of all druid forms to complete it, much like what the epic flight form quest did.

Other Forms.

This also makes room for changing the models for Flight Form, Travel Form, Moonkin Form, ToL and Swim Form. Given time, blizzard could add a lot of depth and individuality to the way we play our Druids.
