I am really excited about the next patch and the changes to druids. Blizzard have out done themselves.
Swipe.
* Swipe: This ability will no longer strike any secondary targets which are under the effect of crowd-control spells that break on taking damage. i.e. Polymorph, Sap, etc.*
This is an amazing buff. I know longer have to concentrate and watch my positioning when tanking. It is great to not have to learn how to play a class with skill.
Lacerate.
Now damage that scales with AP, but without applying more threat. I must say the first think I think about when I jump into bear form is how much damage I can do. Bear DPS FTW!
Nurturing Instinct.
Increases your healing spells by up to 50/100% of your Agility, and increases healing done to you by 10/20% while in Cat Form.
It is great that when I raid now, I do not have to watch my threat as much as I have a bonus to my healing received.
Lifebloom.
* Lifebloom: the healing coefficient has been reduced. *
Druids apparently dominate the 2v2 and 3v3 arena's, even though they are next to useless in 5v5. By reducing the DoT and Increasing the Bloom, blizzard has increased our PVP ability within these brackets and reduced out PVE healing.
Logic?
Wait a second, a AOE'ish ability that you can use regardless of CC..... A Tank ability that does damage with no increase in threat? A Cat ability that would be nicer on a Tank and a PVP Nerf, that Buffs PVP and Nerfs PVE.......
Ezy Mode.
Aside from all the above, I think Blizzard has taken this whole Ezy Mode thing a little too far. T6 level rewards for T4 Farming. Epic Gems and Patterns freely available from Rep and Badges. Reducing the need for a skilled play to fulfil a role. Let us just hope that this is not a pattern that will continue.
Are you as confused as I am?

Thanks for this post. It sums up perfectly all the issues I have with the coming patch. I just don't get what they think they are doing with some of these things they are doing.
I understand that they are trying to Boost players so more guilds can experiance End Game, but I just think they are removing alot of the skill that goes with it.
I like to see content that I earn. Off all the Pre BC content, I have still not gone to places I did not get to at 60. I have never stepped foot into Naxx. Sure I would like to but on my own terms;)
